Our Services

Our Services

Wellness Exams

Wellness exams are a very important part of keeping your pet healthy. A wellness exam allows your veterinarian to do a full physical exam to assess your pets overall health and to diagnose and treat many health problems before they become too serious.

Surgery

We are equipped to perform a wide range of surgical procedures from minor laceration repairs to major orthopedic surgeries.

Boarding

Healthy Pets of Rome Hilliard offers boarding for our long-term patients. Our facilities can accommodate pets of various sizes. We offer personalized play sessions, baths, and toe nail trims during their stay with us.

Vaccinations

Healthy Pets of Rome Hilliard follows the guidelines for vaccinations set by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). These guidelines help your veterinarian to make the best choices for vaccinations based on risk and age of your pet.

Dentistry

Our veterinarians know that a healthy mouth means more than just having fresh breath.  Dental disease and fractured teeth can be very painful for pets, and bacteria in the mouth has the potential to spread to other places within the body.

Grooming

Healthy Pets of Rome Hilliard offers grooming services for both cats and dogs.

Diagnostics

We have the capability to perform many diagnostic testing such as laboratory testing, digital radiology and ultrasonography. We believe in perpetual education for our staff to set them up for success when completing diagnostics such as determining the type of ear infection your pet has.

Tech Appointments

Our medical team are fully trained in all things technical for your pet. Schedule an appointment for a routine toenail trim, anal gland expression, blood draw, subcutaneous fluid therapy, laser therapy & more.

End-of-Life Care

Whether your pet needs a palliative care examination or to schedule a humane euthanasia appointment, we are here to help you every step of the way. Ask our staff about quality of life materials if you are in need of guidance.

DR. MICHAEL KELLEHER

Dr. Michael Kelleher was raised in Alliance, Ohio. He was the youngest of seven children! After attending St. Thomas Aquinas High school in Canton, Ohio, he earned his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University. Dr. Kelleher worked in Dover, Ohio at a mixed animal practice before coming to Healthy Pets in August 1997. He was a big fan of his kid’s sports; however, he and his wife Cindy are now empty nesters! They enjoy their condo in Fort Myers, FL, between all of their church activities. Dr. Kelleher helps with the Central Ohio Emmaus Community and is also active in Kairos Prison Ministry in Marion, Ohio. He also graduated from Nazarene Bible College with a degree in Pastoral Ministries. When he is not busy serving the community and taking care of pets, you can catch Dr. Keller driving his jeep gladiator or motorcycle!
